Industrial Inkjet Ltd (IIJ) is building on their success within the security printing market by exhibiting at IDENTITY WEEK 11th – 13th June 2019.
Identity week comprises of three events – Digital:ID, Planet
Biometrics and Security Document World (SDW) – all focused on the concept of
identity.
IIJ will be exhibiting at the SDW element of the Identity
Week. Displaying samples of the potential for printing ID documents, and many
other security printing techniques that, given their nature, will only be available
to view at the event.
The SDW conference and exhibition has set the benchmark for
the government identity industry. Attracting a highly qualified audience from
almost 80 countries – including government delegations from more than 30
countries – this event provides a truly global showcase for technology
innovators, industry disruptors, and solution providers. Despite the change in
venue and the collaboration with Identity Week, SDW will continue its
cutting-edge focus on the application of identity solutions by government,
particularly the manufacture, provision and verification of secure citizen
credentials – such as passports, driving licences, visas, eID cards etc.
Currently IIJ supplies inkjet systems for many security based
applications. These include credit-card
printing, passport printing, RFID tag over-printing and high-speed document
printing, particularly into applications such as examinations papers, or government
forms etc. IIJ has also seen significant growth in systems for cigarette tax
stamp printing and increasing interest in systems printing QR codes at high
speed on to packaging for the purposes of cash-prize promotions.
IIJ supply a range of systems that can print in a single colour, the
MonoPrint range, or process, CMYK colour, the ColourPrint range. The MonoPrint
systems can print special covert inks, invisible under normal lighting
conditions, such as UV-fluorescent, for which there are red, blue and green
invisible varieties as well as IR-readable inks. IIJ also has process colour
inks specifically formulated for excellent adhesion to Polycarbonate that have
passed customer durability tests, ideal for ID applications, as well as white
inks and varnishes.
A large part of IIJ’s success can be attributed to their consultative
approach to customers projects, working closely with them to understand every
aspect of their requirements. In this way they tailor the solution to
customer’s needs, essential when working in the security market.
