Wallpaper

Over the last 500 years techniques for wallpaper decoration have evolved, with some of the oldest still working alongside the newest. The ColourPrint 562 inkjet module from Industrial Inkjet Ltd continues that tradition; adding digital printing techniques to analogue equipment, working at full press speeds, you really can have the best of both worlds.
Using the latest high productivity printheads from Konica Minolta, the IIJ modules can achieve the high standards of print quality, reliability and longevity that customers require.
The system is wide enough to easily print full Euro Roll width in a single pass and can print thousands of rolls per day, making it a true production tool. It has been optimised to work with a wide range of standard wallpaper substrates from leading suppliers including papers, non-woven (coated and uncoated) and PVC. The wide choice of substrates, low ink cost, zero setup time and minimal waste means that cost-per-print is comparable with conventional press production.

Flooring

Whether it’s printing direct to wood, giving your natural wood floor a bespoke effect, or transforming other floor covering such as luxury vinyl tile and high pressure laminate, IIJ has a technology to suit your needs.
IIJ has waterbased and UV curable inks specially designed for this market, which, when combined with state of the art colour management deliver repeatable colours even for low metamerism applications. As the process is digital, colour matching to other products and make up batches are easily achieved.
In combination with complementary processing techniques, light fast, high durability decoration can be achieved. Using the single pass techniques that IIJ specialises in, productivity levels are achieved that are in line with or often exceeding those required by this market.

Furniture

As with the flooring market, the demands on furniture decoration surround colour gamut and repeatability. Printing direct to furniture edge banding, colour matched to the rest of the furniture, with low metamerism and high light fastness, needn’t be a challenge. In fact this is an area that IIJ has been in for many years.
The further challenge of direct to shape printing relating to covings, skirting, blinds or even chair and table legs can be taken on with the addition of automation. The narrow format of the Konica Minolta printheads makes this much more possible, especially when combined with the latest software techniques for image processing.
