IIJ (Industrial Inkjet Ltd) is a world leader in complete bespoke industrial inkjet technology. The fast-expanding company has global expertise in designing, implementing, producing and servicing systems for customers across diverse markets.

Independently-owned, IIJ is also the official sales and technical support centre for Konica Minolta industrial inkjet outside of Asia, providing advice on all inkjet technology in industrial applications.

IIJ, which exclusively uses Konica Minolta inkjet print head technologies, develops bespoke systems for customers in numerous industries.

Working across numerous sectors, these range from forward-thinking niche integrators, manufacturers, printers, packaging companies and with blue-chip global brands, as well as ink suppliers.

Diverse markets include pharmaceutical, security printing, confectionery, product decoration and flooring and laminates.

Advanced technology is used for all kinds of applications including everyday consumer products such as computers. However, much of IIJ’s work is so highly sensitive that the company cannot discuss customers or their applications.

IIJ offers advice on any aspect of the use of inkjet technology in industrial applications, with virtually every job a consultancy operation, which is why the company spends a six-figure sum on samples done on its four samples machines every year alone.

Its own designed systems can print on to virtually any surface, including concrete, glass and plastics in numerous formats including complex 3D printing.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2015, IIJ announced major further expansion plans that have doubled the size of its manufacturing base at its Cambridgeshire headquarters where it also has engineering, R&D, service and administration operations.

Sales offices are also based in Germany and the USA where there’s also a technical support centre.

John Corrall, the founder and owner of IIJ, heads a team of experts in industrial inkjet technology. Central to the success is its loyal and highly knowledgeable workforce and continuing development of new products through research and design.
