IIJ's SMP inkjet printer is a compact, high-performance solution that fits seamlessly into production environments - either through OEM integration or end-user retrofit upgrades. Part of our broader MonoPrint and ColourPrint ranges, the SMP combines a compact remote print head with a 19" rack-based ink system and electronics.

The Large Monoprint.
When standard label width, or packaging width, just isn’t wide enough, here at IIJ our standard MonoPrint range goes up to our Large MonoPrint. Due to the nature of our modular design ethos, our largest Mono (single colour) solution tops out at 1472mm as standard. So for those extra-large jobs, industrial applications or just because it’s the optimal location in your production line, we’ll have the solution that works for your project.

Need more printheads?
The IIJ SMP can be supplied in a compact, 19" rack server enclosure. The system houses both the ink delivery and electronics in standard 19" rack. A remote print head, connected via flexible conduit, offers easy installation even in tight production spaces. You can position the user interface wherever it suits your process-on the enclosure, on the line, or even remotely.
No problem -just extend the enclosure to rack and stack multiple systems.

XPI MonoPrints.
The MonoPrint XPI range of modules are provided with two rows of printheads either using the KM1024i (360dpi native resolution) or the KM1800i printheads (600dpi resolution). Providing a double row of these printhead essentially gives you a double speed print capability, while using the Konica Minolta technology platform provides sharp, precise drop placement and graphics. This solution supports reliable, high speed operations and integration into demanding production lines, and allows for broad ink capability and stable reliable jetting for industrial applications.
DualPrints.
Our DualPrint module combines high-speed black variable data printing with a second, application specific colour or fluid, creating a highly flexible solution for industrial production lines. Rather than committing to a full CMYK digital module, manufacturers can add precisely the functionality they need, such as a Pantone brand colour, security ink, adhesive or specialist fluid, while retaining the productivity and simplicity of conventional processes. IIJ already supports spot colours, covert security inks and other specialist fluids for various markets.
Long-Throw

Innovations in Konica Minolta print technology together have enabled us to design, test and manufacture for long-throw applications . With the introduction of the KM1024a and KM800 series of printheads, we are at the forefront of long-throw drop-on-demand digital inkjet printing.
