The Ink is tested in the ink system for 8 weeks to ensure there's no damage to the non-wetting coating.

Testing how long you can go have a cup of tea before the ink dries in the nozzles.

8 weeks testing in the printhead with samples taken at regular intervals to check for missing or deviant nozzles.

2 weeks running on a mock-up print module with a production environment.
Ink approval process per ink per colour set requires 7-10 weeks of testing. We cannot guarantee approval of ink after testing. If ink requires reformulation, the test begins again.
