This graphic industry exhibition brings together 200 suppliers and manufacturers from around the world and was visited by around 70,000 integrators and end users in 2010. IIJ have installed their first inkjet print engine “ColourPrint” in Latin America and this was demonstrated at Expoprint 2010 by their Brazilian integrator, Comprint. “For label and credit cards applications, the ColourPrint 72 (CP72) has been Comprint’s main innovation at the show, attracting the attention of new and existing customers,” said Christian Vörlander, CEO of Comprint. “At Comprint we are happy to announce that we have already sold a CP72 to one of our customers in Sao Paulo.” Mr Vörlander foresees this is the beginning of a new venture in the digital market. At the show was a complete reel-to-reel professional digital colour print system with a print width of 282mm and a speed of 27metres/minute. The system is available for a price of around UK£200,000 including print engine, software, reel-to-reel system and UV lamp. The system ran continuously throughout the show and demonstrated yet again the exceptional reliability of Industrial Inkjet products.
