IIJ unveils its new, high speed, high quality full-colour digital print unit at LabelExpo Americas 2010 |  | At LabelExpo Americas 2010 in Chicago,USA, Industrial Inkjet Ltd will unveil the latest model in their
exciting range of ColourPrint inkjet print engines. Producing higher print quality at higher production
rates, this new model is designed to meet the exacting requirements of the label printing industry.
Based on proven technologies including Konica Minolta inkjet printheads, the ColourPrint 142 HQ
comes with the reliability and ease of use demonstrated by earlier products in the range.

Launch of the first Czech inkjet label printer using Konica Minolta inkjet technology | | TECOM paper s.r.o. have launched the “TIJ 2048C/400”, the first high-performance UV-Inkjet digital
label printer in the Czech Republic. The TIJ 2048C/400 uses inkjet technology to print labels and similar
products on most materials including self-adhesive film and paper. The reel to reel transport system can utilise rolls up to a maximum diameter of 620mm. The speed of printing can be varied depending on the image being used and is adjusted by the transport system, with a typical speed of 20 m/min (max. mechanical speed is 50 m/min).
The printer uses the Konica-Minolta KM1024 printhead, which is the most reliable printhead for single pass label applications.

Industrial Inkjet Ltd installs the first print engine in Latin America during Expoprint 2010 | | Expoprint is one of the biggest print exhibitions in Latin America. This graphic industry exhibition brings
together 200 suppliers and manufacturers from around the world and was visited by around 70,000
integrators and end users in 2010.
IIJ have installed their first inkjet print engine “ColourPrint” in Latin America and this was demonstrated
at Expoprint 2010 by their Brazilian integrator, Comprint. “For label and credit cards applications, the
ColourPrint 72 (CP72) has been Comprint’s main innovation at the show, attracting the attention of new
and existing customers,” said Christian Vörlander, CEO of Comprint. “At Comprint we are happy to
announce that we have already sold a CP72 to one of our customers in Sao Paulo.” Mr Vörlander
foresees this is the beginning of a new venture in the digital market.

Press Release: FESPA 2010 |  | Since 2008 Konica Minolta and Industrial Inkjet Ltd have been demonstrating single-pass inkjet
technology at each Fespa show. 2010 was no exception and the system demonstrated at both Fespa
and the recent Ipex show represented another leap forward in capability.
At the show was a complete reel-to-reel professional digital colour print system with a print width of
282mm and a speed of 27metres/minute. The system is available for a price of around UK£200,000
including print engine, software, reel-to-reel system and UV lamp. The system ran continuously
throughout the show and demonstrated yet again the exceptional reliability of Industrial Inkjet products.
