IIJ supports local charity

Responding to an outreach request from a local charity called Sunday Supper and mindful of those less fortunately than ourselves in this bitterly cold weather, today we donated warm clothing, personal care essentials, thermal bags and food items to the charity.

Sunday Suppers is a community founded group based in Mildenhall whose aim is to help the homeless in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas – Providing hot food, hot drinks, clothing, toiletries, sleeping bags and hope. The charity also provides hot meals to the homeless on a Sunday and are out and about on a Monday and Thursday evening in Bury St Edmunds providing the necessities to those sleeping rough.

With IIJ MD, John Corrall, heading up the team, we took a long shopping list to a nearby supermarket and three shopping trollies later had all the donations ready to hand over to the charity. Social responsibility is important to IIJ and we are very proud to support to a local charity who deliver an incredible service to those in need.
