IIJ Lift Mechanism

The Industrial Inkjet Ltd (IIJ) lift mechanism is the collision avoidance product capable of lifting the IIJ family of print engines to a safe position, protecting the print heads from imperfections in the media which could be likely to collide with the print engine print heads. It covers the CP212 – CP562,   CP223 – CP594, MP212 – MP562, MP223 – MP594 range of print engines.

The lift mechanism is capable of lifting 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 mm based upon customer requirements and is controlled by the use of IIJ’s in-house programmable control platform. The lift mechanism maintains the slim profile of the print engines already employed by the existing Print Systems IIJ offers.

The lift mechanism is able to integrate with larger control systems by offering status and command I/O suitable for many applications, and provides feedback about the print engine position. The control cabinet also allows users to control the position of the engine by manually commanding the print engine to raise or lower.
