IIJ Thoughts from Pack Expo 2018

Pack Expo Chicago 2018 was hugely successful for Industrial Inkjet Ltd (IIJ), but not just because of the quantity or quality of visits to our stand, and the subsequent leads. It was a successful show because our message was well received, people knew who we were, and wanted to hear what we had to say. Most importantly for IIJ, they left with a much clearer understanding of their current inkjet capabilities as well as their potential future digital inkjet requirements than before they met with us.

There were many highlights at the show that helped to make the show successful, to name but a few:

  • IIJ were one of the very few companies offering truly live product printing demonstrations and the visitors were suitably impressed.
  • Pack Expo was attended by over 50,000 visitors over the four days who visited over 2,500 top industry suppliers and attended over 100 educational presentations.
  • The quality of the show and visitors was extremely high.

The high quality of leads has already led to some encouraging sales opportunities. Interesting and unexpected was that over 98% of our leads came from companies not previously known to IIJ.

So, all in all, Pack Expo was very much the success IIJ hoped it would be. A solid combination of a well put together show (thank you to the show organisers) and a well put together team of IIJ professionals ensured that the end result is a lot more people know who IIJ are and what IIJ do well.
