The Industrial Inkjet Ltd USA team successfully hosted their first customer Inkjet Training Course at the company’s Golden, Colorado facility. Now that the US facility has been fully outfitted, the training participants were able to expand beyond the traditional classroom instruction and partake in tailored hands-on training with physical systems including: inkjet printheads, software, ink delivery components and complete print engines. They were able to apply their training and print their product during the session.
The course instructors were Graham Vlcek, President IIJ USA and Jo Herbert, Service Manager IIJ UK. Both Graham and Jo having several decades of experience with inkjet applications and systems, offering attendees the ability to learn from industry leaders.
While training was extensive, lasting 2½ days, the curriculum covered inkjet technology basics, print engine operation and maintenance as well as other content customized for the attendees’ specific application. The sessions started with inkjet theory & best practices and covered every topic including production work flow, colour management and system maintenance allowing the participants to leave with strong understanding and prepared for the systems being delivered later this year.
